Concerned Citizen. Oil on cradled panel, 6x6".

These little creatures are basically things with 4 legs and I have added antlers/ horns and ears based on real animals.

I have a fascination with any animals from the bovidae family, which is basically all single toe ungulates. Examples of those are deer, cows, goats, sheep and antelopes.

But the shape of these creatures are mostly inspired by my dog who is basically a ball of fur when he is laying beside me.

The Curious Lightbringer. Oil on Panel, 8x10"

Starting the Daily Painting exercise as a way to fill my time while waiting for the arrival of my baby. I am at 35 weeks when I have completed this painting.

My ceramic studio has still not yet begun its renovation and this was a way to keep my artist creative. Aside from ceramics, I also keep a collection of artist supplies just in case my creative ticker tells me to use another medium at any time. This is actually the first time I have completed a painting in water soluble oils, and it sure feels great to have finally complete a painting in this medium.
